i need to use spotify to sling together some playlists for Reasons, which, ok, i can suck it up for a bit.

except... how do people use this? nothing seems to _work_. like, things just won't play? clicking on stuff doesn't register? if i do get it playing, it just skips most of the songs on a playlist and then plays a fragment of one and the whole app breaks?

i've tried this in both of the browsers. do people just... exclusively use a mobile app or the also-fantastically-broken electron thing? am i just being punished for running a linux?

@brennen I never use the Spotify web app, I use the desktop app or the iOS app

@packetcat yeah, this definitely does not seem like the happy path.

@brennen The Linux native desktop app never gave me any trouble, but it's been a few months since I've had it installed - plenty of time for them to break something.

@brennen I've just never used Spotify after the first look at their garbage interface many years ago. It was unworthy and I'm not surprised it still is.
